Training Services
Training sessions focus on teaching practical, everyday skills to help dogs and owners live together more comfortably. These sessions are suitable for dogs who are generally confident and emotionally settled, and whose needs relate to learning or reinforcing specific behaviours rather than addressing underlying fear, anxiety, or stress.
Training is delivered using reward-based, welfare-led methods, with an emphasis on clear communication, consistency, and owner involvement.
Training support may include:
Loose lead walking
Recall
Calm greetings
Training sessions take place in the dog’s familiar environment or appropriate real-world settings, and owners are expected to practise between sessions to support progress.
Please note:
Training services do not involve diagnosis or treatment of behavioural or medical conditions.
Training may not be suitable for dogs displaying:
Significant fear or anxiety
Reactivity towards people or dogs
Aggression or distress-based behaviours
If behaviour-related concerns are identified during training sessions, I may recommend transitioning to Behaviour Support or referring you to another professional where appropriate. This is always done with your dog’s welfare in mind.
